The headlands of Helvick and Ballinacourty sweep gently around to enfold a safe and spectacular bay, shoaling gently to a golden sandy bottom - perfect for the beginner. For the more adventurous, local cruising areas include Ardmore, Helvick (where visitor moorings are provided), Baile na nGall and Ballinacourty.
